No, curiosity is a sign of intelligence. Asking questions is how you learn about the world around you, both from the answers you get and the kinds of answers you get. Don't ever be afraid of asking anything you truly feel you need to know about. If anyone gives you a hard time, I will ring their doorbell, leave a bag of flaming dog poop and run away.
