Classical music is a style of music that was written in the time of Bach and Beetoven. It is from a certain period when music was meant for presentations before the noble classes and royalty. Classic music can be anything from 50's nostagia to 80s rock. It's called classice because it's from the recent past and it's considered precious since it's not being made popularly anymore. As in painings. Classical can be like a De Vinci painting and classic can be like a Picasso or Norman Rockwell. I hope this helps.

Classical music unless it's like classic rock. You wouldn't say classical rock. That's just silly!
