You were either having a dream or an out of body experience.

It sounds like you are sleeping when this happens but are a little awake.

This type of thing happens to me when I am stressed about something. With me, there are people from the place I am stressed about (school, home, work) and they are asking me to do things. At some point it gets rediculous and I realize that I am sleeping. The hardest part is that I know I am in bed at home and there is no reason these people should be there but I still talk to them (I've been told that I talk out loud)
-My Md says it's just that I linger between sleep and awake. I am aware of my surroundings slightly but the dream is still going on.

I hope this helps. You can email me if you have more questions at tyara83@hotmail.com

Nah, I wouldn't worry about it at all. You're dreaming. You might be dreaming this because you are stressed. I have a reoccuring dream that I am not going to graduate high school ( I graduated two years ago) when I am under pressure. Right before graduation I remember being very stressed, and so now when I am stressed my brain reverts back to that time. Maybe there was a time when you had a difficult time sleeping because your family was too noisy.

Not only was I hearing voices but I could feel physical pain in my sleep. This happened a couple of times when I was in extreme stress(exams, hard work, next to no sleep at all at weekdays). You are no more schizophrenic than me(and believe you me , I am not). You must be under a lot of stress and your brain simply cannot relax your body adequately so you can have a restful sleep. Relax and everything will be fine

Sounds like you have some problems with white noise. White noise usually makes you fall asleep from just every day non-stop noise that you don't realize is there and gradually lulls you into sleep. I have the same problem sometimes when there is just TOO much white noise that I hear before I go to bed and when I fall asleep my subconscious mind remembers it and amplifies it in my dreams. MAJOR ANNOYANCE!!!!

maybe you were hearing the neighbors ??? or maybe you just thought what you heard was talking...I can hear subsonic sound and sometimes it 'sounds' like I can hear something when I'm really not hearing anything but NOISE. Get something that makes 'white noise' for your room. (either a CD or air cleaner or water box (one of those indoor boxes that has water/music/outdoor sound) it will help you sleep and calm the 'noise' in your head. ( I sleep with an aircleaner, a fan and a waterbox in my room...all to keep the 'noise' down...)
You aren't crazy and you ARE hearing things..see an ENT to get some help if you need it...

yep. I have very vivid dreams especially if I have a afternoon and I sleep a long time ( 2 hrs) I take medications and some there side effects are vivid dreams. sometimes they can be quite upsetting and disturbing. It's only your mind playing tricks.

If you're worried them see the doctor.

Are you in a sound sleep or have you just dozed off? If you've dozed off but not yet sound asleep, you're probably having an out-of-body experience. We,as spirits, all leave our bodies at night to travel and visit loved ones. It usually happens when you've just dozed off. I've had that experience. You're not crazy.

Just a question. Are you on any antidepressant medication? I have heard some people do tend to hear/dream sounds, talking, music, etc.
