they have always been great with eachother until last night. we got home and there was poop and pee on the floor in the living room, poop and pee on their bed by the window, and it looks like there is spray on the window. they hiss and growl at eachother all the time now, and we have to keep them seperated. any suggestions to what it may be upsetting them?

Tension between the two animals-are they fixed, if not may feel like mating. Or, it's territorial, and they are "marking" their territory. Or, maybe getting sick. Please talk with your vet on this matter. Take care.

Fix them both. It looks like a territory thing.
