eat either canned tuna or canned chicken on bread or with crackers without using mayonnaise

what can i use so its not so dry??

You could use a low-fat plain yogurt and add any spices that you like. Sometimes I add a low-fat vinaigrette or Italian dressing.
We also add cut up grapes to chicken salad to keep it moist and add flavor.

This sounds odd, but you might try ONE of the following:
--A bit of juice from sweet pickles works well, you might add some chopped pickle as well for a little crunch.
--A little apple juice, again along with some chopped apples.
--A little mustard, a friend who is a body builder told me this, he was trying to overcome the dryness without the oil from mayo, too.

Melt some cheese on it, use a bit of french dressing or Italian dressing (or Ranch). Mix it with some pickle relish, or mustard, or creamy horseradish sauce.

I love it with fresh lemon juice and s&p, with just a touch of yogurt!!!

lemon,
chopped olives,
roasted red peppers,
sweet bread and butter pickles,
cubed apples (try it, you'll like it!)
