Algonkian.
You won't find too many people who speak that! It is the Indian language of the Native Americans of the NE USA. I got interested in it when I was in college many years ago so learned it just for fun. About once a year I go up to Canada and talk to the guys up in the Maritimes.
It is definitely a wonderful idea to learn a second language. It gives you a whole new perspective ont he world.

If you want to learn anything, I suggest Spanish. It's very straightforward and easy. Spend a few hours a day on it. It's also a plus to learn if you live in a Hispanic-majority area.
