I don't know, I am not angry, I am not religious (hate the word)
I am a spiritual person who believes in Jesus Christ and I am
very happy, content and am not trying to convince any of you.
I know what I believe and why!

I think God is very personal fro everyone and hence we all know how we feel close to them. However when we want to know opinion/ feelings of others we write or read. When we come to know about others, we should keep it with us rather than getting annoyed or using any abstruse language. All is simple.
So you are the best judge of what you want and all those who choose to point out mistakes in you and you belief actually have doubts in their own belief.
However you getting perturbed and trying to reply some one with malodorous words shows unrest within you too. I know you are not liking now what i am writing but you need to introspect your own self and tell yourself that from next time you will just disregard those who try to give you a dogma. You are a free human being and so are others, You asked a question and people wrote what they wanted. There is no point of getting personal or annoyed on others.
As Jesus has said
" God forgive them as they don't know what they are doing"
And the same is in Geeta too
" Do you KARAM(Work) and leave rest to God"
so calm down in your life and decide what you want. Remember you are the boss here till the time you want to be.
May God Bless You

Oh, they say much worse things than that at times.
The anger is very hard to understand. Perhaps it is because they have unresolved issues with someone in their family over religion. Or maybe they are not as sure as they pretend about what they do or do not believe.
I also think many people really do not want to hear that the search for truth is going to take work, study, thinking and serious discussion with people of a variety of faiths. They do not want to think it matters, but their anger proves it does matter to them.
Or we could take the easiest explanation: they are just very young and have not yet learned to control themselves.

Well...first off, this is the religious section of Yahoo Answers, so that may explain the religious answers. Second, I agree. Everyone has the right to their own opinions and should be free to believe in it and express it in their own way, and openly. Unfortunatly, there are those who feel threatened by another's beliefs and must defend their own, therefore they become hostile in their defence. The only time I am hostile is when someone insults my beliefs trying to build up their own. No one has the right to put down another's beliefs because who is to say that theirs is any more right than the other?

Religion, is anything,a person does on a regular basis, doing something religiously...such as exercise, watching T.V. , brushing teeth, ect., so you don't have to be a Christian to be religious. When people are answering your questions, they may be Christians....so that is possibly why they make statements, or comments the way they do, it is a major part of their lifestyle. ( they don't mean any disrespect ). If one does not know what "faith" is, no point in telling them to " have it ", gotta know what it is first, and then...IF...invited!!! Preach On! Hope that helps !!

You will encounter many of the sons of Men complete their their own . The best way to come to jesus is to where you must find the right and must begin to count the cost. We must all get use of it as it is something. You are going to the summer land where all things every where are very beatifull These are the astral body. This is very simple task indeed. One must realize only to dispell theillutions and to let go of the pain of the past

Because you posted your question in R&S would be my guess. Also I feel that you should not be offended if someone cares enough to tell you to have or find faith. There are far more worse things that could be said. Example is at the end of your
statement.

Did you lose your faith? Then go FIND it! heheh
Some people cannot stop with the religion because they are so indoctrinated. I once knew a woman who could not speak a sentence without using religion. (I would comment on the weather and she'd say, "Oh yes, what a beautiful day our Lord has given us!")
Here on R&S ... you have no choice ... well .. I suppose you can log off.

well in this forum it is about religion and spirituality, but i agree with you...i am religious. i am tolerant. but i sometimes i loose my train of tolerance when someone bashes me...like they approach me with an attitude like " your wrong and i'm right"...then blah blah blah...there is nothing i hate more then closed mindedness, i don't hate the person, just their ignorance...or sometimes they will post something offensive here and it isn't even called for...i understand you and your fustrations...and you are most right, you have the right and choice to believe as you wish...you have free will and no one has the right to take this from you.

You have a God-given right to your opinion. All humanity has the God-given right to free exercise of their will. You don't HAVE to believe anything. But it does matter what you believe.
Hint: God is God, we're not. Being God, He gets to make the rules. Not believing in Him doesn't change a thing.
