No, it doesn't.
The "age of accountability" doctrine comes from Jewish tradition, where at 13 years old, boys go through their bar-mitzvah, and become responsible for their own faith. (Girls go through a bat-mitzvah at 12.)
The only Scriptures that deal with children and the afterlife are:
"But now that he is dead, why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return to me." (2 Samuel 12:23)
And
"For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy." (1 Corinthians 7:14)
The implication is that children of believers have a possibility of Heaven, but even then, it is speculation.

All judgement is in God's hand which he passed on to Jesus.
Jesus said that his words would judge in the last days.
Durning judgement day children will die based on their parents standing with God. Example Flood & Sodom
If a person regardless of their age dies prior to judgement day. Then Romans and Acts could apply.
(Acts 24:15) 15 and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
(Romans 6:23) "23 For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord. "
Once a person dies, he has paid the price of sin. Then Jesus can legally resurrect that person from the dead.
This is not a free ticket though.
Notice what Hebrews says.
(Hebrews 10:26-27) 26 For if we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left, 27 but [there is] a certain fearful expectation of judgment and [there is] a fiery jealousy that is going to consume those in opposition.
As to heavenly life, the bible is very specific in the number that will go there.
(Revelation 14:2-3) . . .. 3 And they are singing as if a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to master that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who have been bought from the earth.
(Revelation 5:9-10) 9 And they sing a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, because you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, 10 and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.”
Those who go to heaven do so to be kings and priests
They will rule over the millions who are resurrected to an earthly paradise.
(Revelation 21:2-4) . . .. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; The rod of discipline will remove it far from him. 1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. if they learn the first proverb they'll bypass the second one. if they get neither then they end up counting salvation from hell as a fool's thought... when in actuality it is the greatest truth you could ever give a person. i've been all over and i've never seen God, UFO's, bigfoot, or any of that either. but i have definitely seen the works of God and the works of UFO's and bigfoot and the works of people who subscribe. Jesus said the Spirit of God is like the wind, you can't see it, where it comes from or where it goes, but you can see it against the trees and the waters... and that is how you know it is there, by it's works.

I like the answer about Jesus and the little children, but we believe that young children go to heaven based on this:
2 Samuel 12:16-23 where David's son dies. The son dies and David says that the son cannot return to him but he will go to the son. That implies that David knows the son is in heaven because David knows that is where he is going.

Jesus said 'Let the little children come to me. Heaven is made for such as these' He also said that unless we become like children, we will never see the Kingdom of God. Can't remember the exact verses and I'm too tired to look them up but they're in the gospels.

In Mathew 19:14 Jesus said, "Don't stop children from coming to me! Children like these are part of the kingdom of God." So YES it does indicate that ANYONE who DOES NOT REACH the "AGE OF ACCOUNTABILITY" before Death, shall go to Heaven!!! John

Not straight up
It is inferred
it is a synthesized belief
it makes sense if you look at all the Bible says about going to heaven . . . but it is not stated straight out . . .
The Bible does not say there will be animals in Heaven, but Jesus has a horse at one junction . . . so . . .

Religion is the reason why many people have been killing other people for a while now. The Holocaust, Iran/Iraq, 9/11, Palestine/Israel and the list goes on and on. How can you get a large nation of some of the most educated and intelligent people in the world to believe in genocide, only with blind faith religion (Hitler). For whatever good comes out of religion it cannot overcome the 10,000,000 that have died in the last 3/4 century from the hands of another in the name of religion. Religion downright scares me to death and is the one of the most evil entities ever imagined by man.

Depends on the religious denomination. Mormons believe that children under the age of nine I believe will automatically go to Heaven due to their innocence, other denominations believe that the children will automatically go to Heaven if they are baptised (cleansing of original sin) and if they obey their parents and withold from certain satanic influences.

It's nowhwere to be found. What is accepted, however, is the age of accountability. A loving God would NOT send a poor infant who died to the dark side. Nor would he do that to a developmentally disabled adult. it doesn't work that way. If we are in the normal range, we grow to an age where we can make a cohesive shoice and our all knowing God knows when that time is for each of us. For me, it was 14.
