ONE of my favorite devotions is The Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I am including a link below. The Chaplet is prayed using rosary beads, and can be prayed in under ten minutes. But it is so incredibly powerful!

It is made up of three short prayers:

1. Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

2. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

3. Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

My favorite devotion is the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I like that one because in those prayers, we're not only praying for ourselves, but for the whole world. I've also done devotions to the Infant of Prague, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and several saints, including my patron, St. Camillus. And of course, there's the Rosary. And the prayer of St. Gertrude the Great, which I was taught to pray as a child:

I'm Orthodox, not Roman Catholic, but in my devotions I tend to emphasize particularly the most-holy Mother of God, St. Innocent of Alaska, and St. Kenneth of Kilkenny from the West before the Schism.

hi, i don't pray to Mary and the Saints as we are to not do this. each and every so often I asked Mary to wish for me to Jesus as i'd ask everyone in our church. I a minimum of understand she would be able to not take carry of my money order and throw the prayer in a dumpster like Bob Tilden ministries. The saints i like to check and notice how they overcame super stumbling blocks and triumphed of their faith, looking their thank you to God. My favourites to check are Ignatius Lyola, Thomas extra, the Canadian martyrs and Maria Goretti. Cheers, Michael Kelly
