A gas boycott doesnt work when people are burning the same amount of gas with their own full tank. We need to bike or take public transportation when we live close enough to work.

Now that is a great idea!! I would also like to have another one called "No Personal Vehicle Day", that way people can either take public transportation, ride a bicycle, car pool, or walk.

Very true, people will buy gas if they need it. But as for me I ride Cincinnati's bus system everywhere I go. It is cheaper and is also better for the environment and economy in some ways.

I've been ripping those idiots who post that stupid May 15th gas boycott crap. I salute your attempt to essentially have a Don't use gas day.

well this month (at least in Los Angeles) its bike to work
day on May 17th)
this the day you can ride Metro buses/trains for free
if you bring your bike (or even just your helmet)
this offer is also good on other tranist companies (in Los Angeles county
check metro.net for more details)
