I had a pimple and popped it and put polysporin on it is this good. or will it clog up my pores.

Polysporin will not cause acne. It should be fine on one pimple. Just clean your face and dry it before applying. Pimples are little pockets of infection and polysporin is an antibiotic so the polysporin should help.
However, never, ever use polysporin on your entire face. Polysporin should never be used on a large area and should not be used for more than 7 consecutive days unless instructed to do so by your doctor.
Did you also know you should use it at approximately the same time every day? It works best that way. Also, make sure you wash your hands after applying the polysporin to your pimple. If you develop a rash, hives, itching, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, facial or oral swelling, burning or redness, stop usage and see your doctor immediately! These side effects are extremely rare but you should be aware of them.

I trained as a beauty therapist and we were told that soap is too alkaline so it removes the acid layer on the skin that protects it. As soap is in bars kept by the sink they can also have bacteria growing on them. It's better to use a facial wash in a bottle. You can be lucky though and your skin will still be alright with using soap. If you really want to dry out your face you should use those lotions with alcohol in them as they remove grease and also kill germs. The only thing about drying the face is it might remove the spots but the rest of the skin will look red and flaking so it will need a moisturiser on after suitable for greasy skin. Acne isn't caused by a virus so not sure why somebody would say that. It's due to the hormones changing as a teenager but killing bacteria once they are out helps to stop them growing.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.
