I am sure there are books on the subject at places like Barnes & Noble or Amazon.com.
I haven't done it for years and it was a matter of trial and error, getting all the food cooked. All I recall was some would be close to being burnt or barely warm but it was an education that I would swap for the world.

Type in Dutch Oven Cooking, and it will really help you out. Look for the scouting one or the one below. Lots and lots of ideas.
