I live in MS, I will b 18 in October .. I was jus wonderin how do I go about gettin empancipated? I'm hopin 2 get married in March .. I recently jus got engaged 2 my fiance.. Will my mom still hav to sign for me to get married?

Well, you're going to be 18, so what's the problem? The only one I can think of is that you'll ONLY be 18! What's the rush?

Ok, if you turn 18 in October (legal age), by March you'll still be 18. Therefore, you don't need your parents' permission (or emancipation). Obviously you need to get a few things figured out and grow up a little before you get married. Give it some time.

If you are going to be 18 in Oct and not planning on getting married until March then there is nothing to worry about... once you are 18 you are legally an adult (unless of course MS has some bass-ackward law that says otherwise.

It will probably take you longer to go through the court systems to get emancipated. You'd do better having your mom sign for you to get married, if you can't wait till your 18. Or you could push your wedding back to after your birthday.

You might try to read some books about the topic of emancipation.

Um... you will be 18 five months before your wedding... why do you need to be emancipated?
