Please pray this does not happen to the majority of Christians around the world..
God wants us to have an undying love for Him. In Revelations 3:14-22, Christ rebuked the Church of Ladociea for their spiritual apathy. He said to them, “You are lukewarm - neither cold or hot-I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” Ladociea had a pipe system that extended to the nearby city of Hierapolis. Heirapolis possessed hot, spring water that had medicinal value. This water would travel to Ladociea via the pipeline. By the time the water arrived to Ladociea, however, it was lukewarm and lost its medical value
Jesus asked the church of Ladociea to open the door of their hearts, so that He can come in and dine with them. God wants us to invite Him into the secret places of our lives and connect with Him on a deeper level. God wants to be close with you. He’s knocking on your door. Will you ignore Him or let Him in?

Absolutely. Just look at this site as a guide. How many here claim to be Christian, but think that homosexuality is OK, religions that claim Jesus is not the Son of God are OK. Believing false doctrine. Condoning evil acts.

Sounds pretty lukewarm to me.

Not that they are lukewarn just not properly taught. In religion truth is becoming hard to come by. Therefore when truth is spoken people withdraw back into their comfort zone. lukewarm and unlearned. They do not read; nor do they practice what they have learned. Are they becoming lukewarn, no, they were never hot.

There is a world of difference between being "lukewarm" in faith and being moderate or liberal in interpetation. A lot of conservative Christians seem to assume that "lukewarm" refers to political degree...if you're not a conservative, fire-and-brimstone type, you're "lukewarm".

This is not nessecarily true. I know many moderate and liberal Christians who are equally as passionate about their faith as any evangelical. The difference is their politics, not their devotion.

Yes, most Christians have become lukewarm with their "live and let live" attitudes towards sin.

They need to be more like Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, as seen here is this video:

Ever since people started following the bible instead of the Spirit of Truth, that's all they have been. It is the natural result of mixing truth with lies. Confused, that is what christians are.
