How to unlock a Microsoft Word Page?

How do I unlock the page. I can't write anything on it or copy and paste. I can't touch it.

are u using 2007 office, cuz this happened to me yesterday, just put in the cd and install it again

If the document is protected by the author, you can't. You can save a copy, rename it and try to work with the document from there.

Has your copy of Word expired from a trial period ??
