Do you mean build up your body in general? Do a combination of weight training two times a week for 20 minutes, and running three times a week for 20 minutes. Drink lots of water, and eat healthy. Go to bed at a decent time so you get that good rest your body needs.

there's a lot of different ways to strengthen your "core". the best way is to do pushups and crunches EVERYDAY!! and not just your normal routine, vary the amount of reps you do, the amount of time that you hold the muscle in place. you'll start to feel the burn in different places of your body and notice that you'll get tighter each time. then when you run, you'll notice that you'll start breathing heavily later in your run and can go farther without feeling tired or worn down!
