Yes, a rent to own account can be discharged in BK. If the creditor wants the collateral back you will most likely be required to make it available for them to pick up. If you paid on it long enough they may just let you keep it. Good Luck

Bankruptcy may get you out of additional payments, but until the LAST payment is made, you don't own the furniture. You can't keep the stores property without paying for it.
