People should look closer on Europe where it's going, and why we should not.?

Since many Atheists quote *The Netherlands* and how great they are living, I can find every reason why we should not go into that direction just doing a Google Search

Dependence on state handouts is widespread amongst the adult generations. Today around 21-22 percent of the Swedish population in working age is being supported by one form government handout or another, up from around 11 percent in 1970 (as reported by Swedish Public Television 15th March 2005).

Many unemployed people are unwilling to take jobs that pay less than their former employment. The reason is that government compensation is often almost as high as their previous salaries; taking a job that pays less than their old one might very well mean lower income than the state benefit.

Netherlands: lower crime rates than the US, lower unemployment, drug crime, gun crime (almost non-existent), teenage pregnancy, abortion, STDs than the US; lower prison population as a percentage of population, lower rates of depression, suicide and murder than the US.

Your own citation puts the US third (and what kind of big deal is "work wingeing" anyway?). The Netherlands, if you'd bothered reading, was at the bottom of that table.

And get some learning. Why people like you sound off without taking the courtesy of some reasonable research I don't know. I doubt very much you could find Sweden on a map.

But America is a secular nation and Sweden is a country in Europe. Can you see the disconnect in your logic scheme?

Maybe this will help: America is not governed as a "GOD Loving Nation". Europe is a continent. Sweden is a country.

Why are you quoting information about Sweden to support your argument about the Netherlands?

If you want to prove the undesirability of life in the Netherlands, why don't you post something about the Netherlands?

Try looking up stats on the U.S. and you'll see how great the "godless" Netherlands actually looks...

Edit: I take back what I said about the citation. That's an article about people complaining about work conditions...
And btw,Swedes don't come from the Netherlands...

LOL. If you think that re legion has a major affect on political policy of a land then your sourly mistaken. Politics needs only appease the masses of a particular religion so that they my in-act their social policies. You shouldn't pray to your leader as a god. No man/women can withstand such power.

If God loves America so much, why did he allow 9/11 to happen? He's God. Surely if he can create the universe and the dinosaurs, it's not too much of a bother for him to stop a few tiny planes. If he was really watching over your land.

1. Sweden and the Netherlands are two different countries within Europe, just like Canada and Mexico are countries within North America. Learn some geography.

-highest rates of teen pregnancy and abortion (even higher rates in the Bible belt south, compared to the relatively godless north )
-highest rates of illiteracy, homelessness,
-lowest number of high school graduates,
- lowest number of college graduates.
- highest rates of incarceration, and it ranks 5th in the world for number of executions (China, N Korea, and Iran are the top 3)
-10% of world population contributing to 50% world pollution and global warming gases
