How about a Mexican food party! Have a taco bar, with soft shells, hard shells, meats, veggies, sour cream. Let guests make tacos.
Serve beans, rice, nachos, and 7 layer dip on the side. If you are over 21 serve margaritas!

Where we live we throw what is called an open house. The foods generally are mexican type things such as tacos and nachos or fried chicken and salads or Sandwich type things. Really anything you like and your budget can handle. Drinks are usually soda or punch and coffee and tea and water. We never play games as it's an open house and people come and go. It's like from 1pm untl 5 pm or something. have fun. Enjoy graduation!

It depends upon what kind of graduation it is. If it's a high school graduation party, there should be sodas and water and a deli-style food thing (you can go to a grocery store and order a deli plate) or pizza. Also offer snacks such as carrots and broccoli with ranch and fruit pieces.

I would have a few finger foods such as wings (BBQ&Buffalo), etc...then I would have a few main entrees. Go to the Food Network and find some great ideas for party food.

I wanted a party that was a little different, so we made a ton of Italian foods... eggplant & chicken parmesean, antipasto, bruscietta, cannolis, etc. It was awesome. I had a roman-theme and everyone had a great time just hanging out, listening to music, and talking about what we were doing since we graduated.
