find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

It's possible that you're close to your lower weight limit already. 150 for a 5'10" girl is not unhealthy, depending upon bone and muscle structure.
How do you work out? Do you do muscle training or mostly cardio? Muscle is heavier than fat, and it's possible you simply have strong, well-toned muscles. Given your level of exercise, you are probably in very good health regardless of your weight, assuming you also eat right. (It doesn't matter how much you exercise if you eat oreos for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.)
If your diet and exercise habits are healthy, don't worry about what a three-digit number says about you. Chances are, you're healthy (even athletic) at that weight and you probably look fantastic as well.
Your BMI is in the "normal" range at either 150 or 140.

Finally someone who doesnt want a quick fix idea. The best and healthiest way is to make sure your diet is good and do plenty of cardio and light weights.
Your diet needs about 40/40/20
which is 40%protein, 40% complex carbs, 20% unsaturated fats.
Make sure you eat enough calories and spread the food over the day so 4-6 meals would be perfect. Drink plenty of water. And finaly just stick with it. Theres no quick fix for healthy weight loss, so just keep going. :)

i'm uncertain what the medics think of,yet I lost 2 stones and eight pounds on the "Atkins" nutrition recurring over 4 years in the past, and have stayed on the comparable weight ever considering that. I accompanied the nutrition recurring to the letter. No carbs by any ability for the 1st six weeks, then gradually introduce them over the subsequent 4 to 6 weeks. My purely subject became into my baggy abdomen which I had to do some severe crunches to tighten up. in case you will attempt this nutrition recurring, you will would desire to get the "Atkins" e book to be certain which you're following it wisely. that's rather trouble-free. No potatoes, bread, pasta, beer!,sauces or flour based stuff. you've got as lots chicken, Viscount St. Albans, any meat, cheese and coffee cal fizzy beverages as you like.Fish is likewise a sturdy project. once you have reached your aim weight, you are able to start to savour any meals with out putting any significant weight on. sturdy success.

eliminate all non-natural foods (if you cant pronounce it, dont eat it) AND allergens from your diet for a week, and then reintroduce an allergen per week to see how your body reacts to it. one of the most common reasons people cant shed those "last 10 lbs" is because of food intolerances and water weight your body is holding onto in an attempt to "ward off" these "intruders."
wheat and dairy are the big ones, followed by things like eggs, soy, nuts.
and be sure to drink a lot of water; that will help with water weight, too.

Just eat vegetables and meat, you will drop weight like crazy, and be so healthy with tons of muscle.
People who say they can't do this are not serious enough to make the commitment.
Run a lot.

You can cut down your carbs and keep going at that pace, but at 5'10" 150lbs is probably a perfect weight for you. Those 5-10 lbs are going to come from places you don't want to lose it from, like your boobs.

I used to fill my stomach with a large plate of lettuce before eating my main meal. And I don't eat between meals (=no snacking)
Desserts can be eaten only as courtesy if somebody offers; if you are by yourself, think of them as poison (trans fats? saturated fats? refined carbs? additives?)
Sodas are not for every day. They ruin your teeth and your waist. Water doesn't. When I 'm bored of water I drink water with some lemon juice (I cut a lemon and sink it in my glass)
I hope this helps.
