I would say Calgary. Its a really nice and clean city, friendly people, and in the Winter you get Chinook winds which can give you some nice days in winter.

St. John's Newfoundland. Have lived there. The city is awesome. Seeing that you are 23, you might like the nightlife that St. John's has. There is George Street... this is the major club area where the last two weeks in July are awesome with a major festival. Take a look at the website .

You hate a lot of a bit of everything, so I would go for Montreal ,Nice people, med size city, lots of culture and you can live just outside the city if you like

St. John's Newfoundland is great and meets all your likes and dislikes. Plus it's a college town and it's got some of the greatest music in the world.

Anywhere from Manitoba province west. The further west, the nicer the people, and you're in luck in one respect, Canada really doesn't have too many large cities.
If you really like cold weather, and great scenery, head for Alaska.

depending. If you are black, avoid Quebec! No job for you. Montreal is dirty, lout and ....annoying after 2 weeks. Try Toronto, or better Alberta. They are the best social life, and they just nice. Good work, and you can enjoy winter time.

well, aparently leamington, ontario was chosen as best place in canada to live... i'm not too sure why, because there isn't much down here. it's not big ... about 20000 people, theres no gossip here. although it is hot in summer and very cold in winter...
