My girlfriend found naked pictures of my ex that my ex gave me for my birthday before we broke up. Now she's angry and won't talk to me unless I burn them or let her do it, but I don't want to burn them. What do I do?

Why don't you want to burn them? Honestly, I do not blame your current SIGNIFICANT OTHER, for being infuriated by your decision not to rid yourself of something that should have been long gone when you and your previous gf broke up. It sounds like you are still hanging onto the past.
How would you feel if you found that your current girlfriend was dwelling in the past by hanging onto naked pics of her ex? Probably hurt, insecure, and a little jealous. Honestly, I would say burn them unless you want to have another ex because I have been through this situation before with my bf and will tell you that she will not listen to anything you have to say until the deed is done.

The proper thing to do would be give them back to your ex, or destroy them. You should at the very least put them somewhere where they are not around. and tell your girlfriend you got rid of them which you did. Basically your current girlfriend feels betrayed because she feels that you having the photo's of your ex means you are still into her. This might happen even if the pictures weren't naked ones.

I have a bigger question? Why are you keeping these naked pictures of your ex? She's an ex for a reason and your girlfriend is your girlfriend for a reason.
If you have any respect for your girlfriend, and if you truly love her, then you'll care that her feelings are obviously deeply hurt by what she found.
Get rid of the pictures. What are they really worth to you? Are they worth losing your girlfriend or worth her feeling hurt that you have them.
I'm sure just as you both know both of you had a life before eachother. Still it doesn't make it right for you to keep that proof.

you are now in a new relationship and it is pretty disrespectful and hurtful to have naked pictures of your ex still. You should burn them otherwise you're going to put a big wedge in this relationship. Ask yourself which one is more important: those photos? Or making things work with your gf? There is your answer.

Completely understandable.I would react the same way.
Why do you even still keep the pics?
They were a present and you probably like them but that is so disrespectful towards your girlfriend.
You can only trash the pictures and tell your girlfriend that you are sorry now.

Eek. It'd depend how much you care for your current girlfriend. Is she a keeper? If so, you might want to burn them. If you were in her shoes and found naked pictures of her boyfriend, you might think the same as she does.
Or... you could lie, but that'd be going against your current girlfriend's trust.

Why don't you want to burn them? If you are incredibly commited to your girlfriend and REALLY care about how she feels, you would have whipped out a lighter already. It's a no-brainer, buddy.
I'm sure you wouldn't be thrilled if you found nude pictures of HER ex.

first where were the pics?
were they boxed away or in plain sight
and why are you hanging onto them?
if your girlfriend was snoopy and found them, shame on her
but she views your holding onto them as still having feelings for the ex
tough call but you need to make a choice here
how would you feel if her ex has nudie pix of her still?

Umm... first of all why did you still have those pics? Second of all, why don't you want to burn them? I think you still have a thing for your ex...let your girlfriend go so she can find someone that appreciates her.

Burn them with her. If you're with her why should it matter if they burn or not? You still have feelings for your other lady? Are you cheating with her? You must be a dope if you let your girl find those pics.
