I don't wear shoes half the time. My mom use to yell at me because I would walk outside in the middle of winter with no sock or shoes on. Half the time I don't wear sock or shoes in the car while I am driving. Don't worry about it.

It is not gross, and if you wear good quatlity shoes, your feet will not stink. I would ignore what people tell you and when they say it is gross. I hardly wear socks, and I never had a problem, but some people think my feet freeze since I do not wear socks even in the winter time. It is your decision on how you want to wear your shoes. There are some shoes that are specificly made to be worn without socks. and they do not have a bad odor. If they tell you it is gross not to wear socks in your shoes, tell them that it is not, and also tell them that it is your shoes and not theirs

Personally I'm same way I don't wear any socks or shoes in the Spring or Summer. It's just the way I am and if no else likes what I am wearing or what I am doing. I am comfortable like that. I see like this if some one does not like you for who you are or what you do, you don't need them. Have a blessed day.

Where there's smoke there's fire. If they say your feet are gross they probably are. Not wearing socks is no guarantee against foot odor.
Sandaled feel can be among the worse stinkers. Maybe you ought to have a look at that end of your body with a view to improvements.

They are your feet. If your shoes aren't ratty, and they are clean, and as long as your feet are clean, and as long as your shoes don't cause blisters and they are a comfortable fit, you should do what feels comfortable to you. No one places emphasis on such things anymore. Unless you are diabetic and your doctor recommends that you wear socks, what's the big deal? Who are you hurting?

People don't want to look at your mangky feet! it's dirty and disgusting! I dry retch everytime i see someone out (like at the shops) without shoes on.
A lot of the time it's not safe to not wear shoes either, eg needles; glass; and poisons.
the only time 'no shoes' is suitable is when you are INSIDE a house.

What should you do?...put some socks on, man.

If your shoes aren't stinky by now, they will get that way soon..the warmth and darkness of a shoe is absolutely ideal for bacterial growth...combine that with sweaty, unprotected feet, and you're begging for a case of athelete's foot or some other fungus.

What should you do? Wear socks unless you are wearing sandalls. You are making an easy target of yourself for people to pick on you.
