We had a jehovas witness knock on the door earlier and so not to be rude i had a short chat with him on the door step. He was saying that i should go to church etc..., we got in to quite a debate and i said to him if God loves everyone then regardless of whether i go to church or not if i live my life as a good person and do no harm to others then why shouldnt i go to "heaven" if there is one, he said that if i didnt let God into my house then he wont let me into his, i then asked how so called born again rapists, child murderers and generally evil people could get into heaven and i couldnt even though ive basicaly a good girl.
So really how can religous people justify that God loves everyone he clearly doesnt .
I suppose im going to be reported for no reason what so ever but hey.

God doesn't love everyone. The bible is full of long lists of people he hates. The sycophants he loves are definitely in the minority. The JW's, like most religions, are predominantly obsessed with hate, the love is a mask.

There is no way to answer this. Christianity based religions and built on "faith". I am sure if you asked extremely religious people they would all have an answer and they would all be different. I agree that if a god were to exist and if you are a good person, you should not need to go to church. There are a lot of things unanswered with Christian religions and there is room for personal interpretation. Just believe what feels right to you. The world has changed. Does it make sense to live 100% by a religion over 2000 years old anyway? There are many things it says in the bible that we ignore because they don’t make sense in today’s world. Being a good person is more important that following religion to a tee or attending church.

Jesus said quite frequently of those who rejected His truths, but acted religious, like praying on the street corners: ¨They have already received their reward.¨

So you see, God rewards people according to their faith, and the religious leaders in His day rejected the most important part of their religion, that the PASSOVER LAMB was to die that they may live.

That symbology was recorded way back in Genesis when Adam received his bride through a wound in his side. That shows that the plan of redemption was drawn up before sin entered in because Jesus will ¨¨receive¨His bride, the church through the wound in His side 4,000 years later.

There is a time coming when there will not be a single atheist on Earth, but everyone will not be saved. It is a time of great deception, and those who fail the test will be forever lost.

That is why God sealed a Bible code in the only scripture that says ¨These words are closed and sealed until the end of the days.¨¨ Break that code at: www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

The devil became right into a murderer from the commencing up is written i'm The Resurrection and The existence and that's appointed for many peoples to as quickly as flavor demise, then the selections bore by way of Messiah is winning over demise for eternal purposes. does no longer God love his enemy that the area destined for some may well be to inherit the reward of such, if by way of contract with an Enemy?? God is love, exhilaration, peace, staying power, goodness, wish, gentleness, faith, meekness, self-discipline; for persons who're ruled in bearing alongside with those to an abundance interior the attainment by way of grace; there is not any regulation of sinful nature of the internal being of the darkness. that's The Resurrection that peoples would desire to bear lots fruit in accordance with the Blessing bestowed upon every person; as Adam after the autumn interior the backyard. Be fruitful and multiply develop on earth and subdue the earth interior the overcoming of the curse.

You are just using your own hard hearted reasonings and not really interested in any truth whether they were JW or Catholic.
God loves all mankind to show that he sent his only begotton Son to suffer and die for us so repentant sinners can have the hope of salvation.
The sinner who repents whether he is a rapist, murderer, baby boiler, Nazi can be forgiven. Jesus sinless perfect sacrifice is a higher price than those crimes.

You call yourself a good girl but you are still a sinner. You sin without even knowing it a lot of the time because you are born imperfect. You were born in sin.
If you do not take notice of divine warnings and refuse to recognise God's soveriegn right to rulership then why would God want those people in everlasting life?
What repect would they show?
Why should those who wish to subject themselves be with those who wish not to know about God?
Why allow wickedness to begin all over again?

To be forgiven you have to repent and accept God's life giving ways. If you think that is not good enough for you then why do you care if you are not given eternal life from God?

Saying you are a good girl and thus need to repentance is setting yourself on the wrong road. You need to recognise you are sinful and need repentence on the basis of Jesus Christ's sacrfice. Even the most moral earthly man is desperate in sin and needs Jesus Christ's provision of repentance. You have to recognise your imperfect state.

You have to humble yourself and God will exhalt you.

I don't believe God loves everyone. In fact, in Malachi 1:2,3, it says that God loved Jacob and hated Esau. What people mean when they say God loves everyone is that God loves the world in general. As far as loving murderers, etc., He loves repentant sinners. The Bible says that God came to save sinners, not the righteous. People who think they're righteous enough as they are, even if they are basically good, won't make it to heaven. They need to repent of whatever sins they do have.

I have found out through spiritual experience that Jesus is alive and wants me to know Him, having discovered that, I thought I'd better get to know what the Bible says about Him. It says He is the only way to heaven, that good works without faith don't mean much in Heaven, and that faith without good works is dead. This means that my faith in Jesus and my love for Him, respect for what He did on the cross, will produce good works in me, but good works without loving Him won't produce faith....
I'm not a JW but an honest Christian who has put a lot of time into studying the subject because I can't accept what people tell me either! I have to find out for myself and I've found this to be the only truth that matters. It's good to question things, keep doing it, the truth will come eventually.

You know, I guess a lot depends on who you ask. God does love everyone. I like C.S. Lewis' take on this. He said that he believed that the gates of hell were locked from within. That is to say that those who reside in hell choose it over heaven. That really makes a lot of sense. I'm sure a lot of folks would be uncomfortable in a place where everyone put everyone else's interests above their own. You might not feel at home, especially if you had to put your interests behind the interests of those you felt less worthy.

God does love everyone alike and He proved it, by making a plan for everyone to get into heaven..., and left you with FREE WILL CHOICE as to whether or not you choose to follow the plan.
God's love never fails, it is ever present to anyone who wants it, but His love isn't like pig-slop that will just get on everyone down here! His LOVE was perfect when Adam and Eve CHOSE to violate the conditions of that relationship and they had to leave paradise! God loved them the same, but they took themselves out from under the "umbrella" of it's effect!
Heaven is for those who choose to comply to the conditions of God's love.
God's love came BEFORE you did or didn't do anything, but for it to cover you, you must love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself.
God's part of love is complete, but YOUR part back toward Him makes the connection and eligibility for heaven.
When you enter the only door, Jesus, to get to God, "church" is what you become a part of.
It's like being born in America makes you an American..., being born-again by the Spirit makes you a child of God and HE adds you to His Son's church. It is not about joining some denomination and going to a particular building here, but why not if you are a part of Christ's body?
You can't argue with a Jehovah's Witness. Talking about God and Jesus Christ and church and ESPECIALLY heaven to them is double talk. They don't believe in going to heaven or hell either. Talk to God and listen through His Bible.

Please read John chapter 3 v 16 this shows that u have to exercise faith in order to have everlasting life. as regards going to church please read Hebrews chapter 10 v 25 this shows that by gathering together u get encouragement and strength to cope from each other. As regards rapist etc, all have to turn around and repent and put on the new personalty to gain everlasting life. God does not love who practise wilful sin read 1 cor 6: v 9-11 this shows that u have to repent to gain everlasting life. As regards disabilities, humans were created perfect but because of Adams sin we became imperfect therefore imperfect humans cannot have perfect children,we all inherited illness and death but if you read revelation chapter 21 verses 3 and 4 this shows that god is going to reverse all suffering on the earth. hope this helps

I could convince you He does, and why, but it's a long give and take conversation that doesn't work in these short paragraphs.

Ram Dass has written brilliant books on the topic, CS Lewis's MERE CHRISTIANITY is quite good. Barbara Rossing's one of the best writers on the toping I know. If you're really curious, pick up some of those, Amazon has them used at fair prices.
