I think to be a Christian and fat is a sin unless you genetically fat or your hormones make you fat. Some people are fat because of physical problems. If people overeat and get fat, it is a sin. It talks in the Bible about gluttony. Proverbs 23:21.
Homosexuality is a sin and you can't be a Christian and gay at the same time. I know if you are, then God will convict you and condemn you but show you that it is wrong.

you're dazzling approximately Gluttony being a sin, and you're dazzling approximately SO observed as Chrisitians being fat and calling themselves christians. observe that I used the words so observed as becouse to understand that's additionally a sin and to no longer do. if it sounds like a duck and qaicks like a duck - its no longer a elephant. Christians are what they say they are (no longer something extra or much less) which will make a man or woman it fairly is calling themselves a christian a hypocrite becouse they don't seem to be doing what the bible says. are not getting me incorrect, yet some human beings do no longer understand extra helpful and that they only pass by way of what they see and that's risky. regrettably this and various different issues that folk do could make a real christian look undesirable to the worldwide. Which on the different hand you have the component to the worldwide needs to verify their bible and not purely pass by way of what different every person is doing. If a guy or woman learns some thing new interior the bible then that's going to become their accountability to do as God says, yet whilst a guy or woman does no longer understand then they are nonetheless held to blame to ascertain the bible to understand. Gluttony is a sin becouse the physique is a temple of God (Christian or worldly, he made all of them). we are to preserve it and devour dazzling to think of dazzling. Thats dazzling , the meals that we devour can impact time-honored living. thank you for listening to me out- Kenny

Rev. John Hagee and Rev. Jerry Falwell certainly think it is OK to be fat. A Baptist friend disagrees, however, and she lives with terrible guilt, saying that being overweight is a sin because the believer is not respecting the body (the temple of God.)

As for being gay and Christian, well, Hagee and Falwell will say it is not possible to be both, but then again, gluttony doesn't concern them, either.

to both of you no, I'm a Christian and yes we think that gluttony is a sin too
and no that everything is a sin, please don't mock us. a sin is something that displeases God, so if you were on the computer looking at porn? ya that would be a sin. but this right here? not a sin. but it is hard to be pure, but that's why it's such a good thing that our God is forgiving
yes, it is possible to be fat and be Christian and to be a gay and be a Christian, it just means your not obeying God and you should stop. and if you really are a Christian and really do love God? then you should want to stop

9Or (A)do you not know that the unrighteous will not (B)inherit the kingdom of God? (C)Do not be deceived; (D)neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]effeminate, nor homosexuals,

10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will (E)inherit the kingdom of God.

11(F)Such were some of you; but you were (G)washed, but you were (H)sanctified, but you were (I)justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Basically if you repent and give up the sin you are a child of God, ie Christian. If you continue in the sin then no you will not be saved. It is not enough to confess your sins but to repent and that involves turning away from them. We can't do this in and of ourselves but by God's grace we are able.

You bet...anybody can be a Christian but I think a homosexual or anyone living in a lifestyle other than allowed by the bible really needs to be willing to go to God in prayer,(after being born again) and tell God who they are and what they believe and ask God, (as the Lord of their life), to make them into what he wants them to be. To give them his want s and his needs. As should we all

Can a Fat guy go to heaven...I sure hope so or somebody better hand me a shovel!

Schneb as usually hit the nail right on the head. Good answer Schneb

There is no such thing as sin. God does not have an arbitrary list of rules. Sin is a construct of the human mind and varies by time and place according to the conventions of society.

God has only one universal score card - Love. Loving actions bring you closer to God and fear based actions remove you further away from God.

All other "sins" are man made.

Yes to both questions. Since all people on earth, especially Christians, are sinners.....then we are all guilty or bad in some way.

As a Christian, I cannot judge another Christian, since I am not God. I hope that you won't judge me, since I swore at someone while driving on the way home. I also tend to use profanity when I stub my toe, hammer my finger or burn my hand. Please don't be mad at me...I try to be a good Christian, but I am a sinner like everyone else.

Peace to you, the gluttons and the gay of the world.

yes, all depends on what you call a Christian,

to me a Christian would be, someone who believes in heaven and hell, Jesus, a single god, and at least acknolwledges what some of teh bible has to say... I think its okay to sin, and be a Christian, no ones perfect, and you should decide what is a sin for you anyway, not live you life by other peoples rules just for the sake of it.

Well, old Priests tend to be fat...

And I suppose one can be a personal Christian and believe in God, while being gay...if one believes that God does not care, it should be alright.

Even if personally I think that homosexuals that want to be Christians is sort of like a black person wanting to join the Klu Klax Clan...
