The Dead Sea is always warm as it's deep below sea level.

You should go to Jericho, near the Dead Sea in the Palestinian Territories. There's a cable car up to the Mount of Temptation (the traditional spot where Jesus was tempted by the Devil), the Elisha spring, where God through Elisha made sweet the water that had been cursed (it still supplies drinking water to the town), the place where Elijah went to Heaven in a chariot and Elisha got a double portion of his spirit, the Jordan crossing where Joshua and the Israelites first came over, where David's troops pursued Absolom and where John the Baptist baptised Jesus, there's the remains of the walls of Old Jericho, there are (uniquely) palm trees bent over to the ground to welcome back the King, and the sycamore tree where Jesus called to Zaccheus.

I can give you a Christian contact there if you e-mail me.

Anywhere you would go in the other seasons. It would just be a bit colder and ranier.

I wouldn't recommend the Negev due to flash foods, but all of the major places that you want to go to are still great, if not better, in the Winter, as there are less tourists and prices go down!

Masada...the weather will be perfect then. During the warmer periods of the year, the heat at Masada becomes unbearable during the day. All the other places that people are suggesting to you can just as well be visited at any other time of the year. And a place like Eilat is best visited during warmer months.

It depends what you like.

If you want warm beaches and swimming go to the south, if you like snow and skiing go to the north.

Israel has it all.
