im so confused. i have a quiz tomorrow and its been really bothering me. example: im going to bathe

"Me voy a bañar" is what a Spanish speaker would say naturally.
"Voy a bañarme" is also ok gramatically.

The "me" can go at the beginning of the sentence or together with the second verb.
