I just read online to give her bread, so I did, although it might not matter now.

When I got home this afternoon i saw that she puked 14 times, there are tons of chicken bones.
Will she be ok? Should I take her to the vet?

Hello..if the bones were raw not a problem & most dogs do ok even if they do swallow them, is there any blood in the vomit & if her gums are nice & pink, not too pale or white, she is probably OK...otherwise it is time for a VET NOW...it's cooked bones that can be dangerous & deadly ..or if you're really worried, seek a vet ..>Take Care :)

Take her to the vet Killsbuffalboom, better safe than sorry. You don't know if she has been able to bring up everything... The fact that she has been sick so badly shows that the chicken bones have upset her... If you take her to the vet and she's ok, you've made a "waste" trip and "wasted" some cash. If you don't take her and she's not ok, you'll be kicking yourself for the rest of your life (well, for a long time... depends how much the dog means to you), so I'd say, take her...

All the best

Dogs aren't aloud to eat chicken bones, so ignore anyone who says they are. They can eat any bones but chicken because of the little tiny bones. Keep an eye on your dog and if she is still eaten and drinking properly and not whimpering when she does either then she should be fine. I'd take her to the vets just to be on the safe side!

Yes, when in doubt, at least CALL the vet. he'll tell you to bring your dog in. NEVER EVER give the dog chicken bones, they splinter and can get lodged in the stomach, which may have happened. It can be fatal. Now, realize, that I understand that your dog may have gotten into the trash to get the chicken bones and it may not be your fault.
It's best to have the vet check her out, especially if she is still puking, that means the stomach is trying to dislodge something and that could cause more harm. Good luck! Hope it all turns out okay!

I have never heard to feed a dog bread when it is sick from vomiting. Get the dog to the vet before it seriousy injures it self from throwing up chicken bone. Who knows what kind of damage they aready have cause if any.
I know if my dog threw up that many times I would not be on Yahoo asking what to do!

Get the dog to the vets.

Many of your answers were right in the fact that she could have a bone lodged in her throat/stomach/pylori. It is better to be safe than sorry and have the vet xray her stomach. Also, since she has pucked that much, she is probably dehydrated and needs the vet to give her fluids. Sorry, but she really needs to see the vet.

I am a licensed vet tech, you need to get your dog to a vet asap. She may have cut her intestine or she could also have a blockage...both are life threatening. Chicken bones can splinter and cause great damage and if your dog is vomiting it is great cause for concern.

You should take your pup to the vet. Cooked bones can be harmful AND deadly! Put the trash can in an unaccessible place to the dog or put a secure lid on it so she(Your dog, provided she survives) does not get in the trash again.
