what you are talking about doing, is dangerous, for him and for you. Don't be cheap, if he is wanting detox get him to a hospital where he can do it safely.
Detoxing without medical care can be FATAL.

Nancy, If he is an alcoholic, you need to take him to a hospital or a detox center and let him check in. If he is not an alcoholic, then you can do the home detox version that you buy at the smoke or herbal shops. Alcoholics can become very hostile when coming off the sauce and will hurt you to get a drink. Think of your and his safety and do the right thing.

go to a health food store buy a detox tea or go to a smokeshop and get a detox packet or drink

also you could be cheap about this drink a lot of water as in so much you pee pure water and pickle juice works great you could drink both about 3-5 days you should be detoxed

best way is still hospital or center because withdrawls can kill you or make you horibally sick a detox center or hospital is my recomendation but the above listed ways work preferalbly go to a center or hospital

A detox should DEFINATELY be done in a rehab or hospital setting. You can die from the withdrawls of alcohol.

Hi Nancy.I hear what you are saying. He is giving you problems with his alcohol addiction yeah?

You can't do it alone sweetheart. You both need help. I'm not talking AA or anything because it reeks of reformed sinner crap.

You can't lock him up either. I'm in the same loop. What would help me is good times that equal the relaxation you get from booze. Looking better, feeling better, not feeling bad when you drive in case you get pulled, not being drunk at work in case you get fired...oh...the advantages are endless...

Your task is to persuade him of this. Sadly....you probably won't. SORRY .
