Many of them will believe anything the PC,liberal, etc. groups tell them to believe.
They need to seek Jesus themselves and ignore what they are told to believe (not believe).

Since this is entirely a hypothetical question, it would make less sense for me to still be an Atheist if the existence of God was proven. However, I would merely accept the fact that he exists, and never worship such a cruel and bigoted being.

However, at this point, Christians have absolutely Zero proof to support the existence of God, and so like the bogeyman or santa, I choose to not believe in it and be an Atheist.

For the time being, I think the concept of God is entirely bogus, and so I'm not exactly waiting for the scientists to discover proof of God, which isn't what they're doing anyway. When was the last time you watched a documentary dear?

If you can give me solid proof that there is a God, then do so. Or else you are just hoping and praying that there is a big invisible friend for adults in the sky. Currently there is no proof that there is a God, and from the evidence that we have of how planets are created, there is more proof that there is no God. Hence, once again, what evidence do you have? None.
Oh, and by the way, the Biblical God is a rapist, mass murdered, promotes incest, just plain evil. Everything that I am totally against, so he could just go away.

Yep, Big Whoop. God or no God, I am happy with myself. I rely on myself to make me a good person. There is no Jesus, or 10 rules, or God, or Heaven or Hell. Just this. As it is right now. The only thing I hope for is that I wake up to another great day. I don't need proof of anything, apart from that I made somebody happy.

I do not Believe in Abrahamic Mythology (that is Judaism, Christianity and Islam) it is as simple as that. I don't need anyone to prove anything the proof is in the pudding and in this case there is not one shred of evidence that would withstand the principles of science indicating there is a God or ever was a God and absolutely no rational evidence whatsoever that indicates this so called God has ever let itself be known to us.

There is however compelling evidence that shows that Abrahamic Mythology is a total and utter lie.

I don't think dubya is competent enough to run the government much less hand me empirical proof that deities exist.

And whether I continue to follow my own path depends on the deity that is shown to be real ~~if~~ empirical proof is ever found. Honestly, if it anything like the christian deity who thinks nothing of wiping out humanity at a whim, asking a person to sacrifice their own child as a test of devotion or condemning one segment of the population because they don't fit what it thinks gender-roles should be, then no I will not follow such a closed-minded deity.

To be perfectly honest, it wouldn't matter. I'm not worshipping a God that arranged a situation in which non-Christians go to hell solely for that reason. You can say that God really doesn't want anyone to go to hell, but the point is that he allows it to happen, and that's ridiculous. Some of the best people I know in my life are, or will be, burning in the underworld if Christianity is true. Do you really think I'm going to worship a being that lets that happen? No chance.

I rather think it would depend upon the nature and qualities of this supernatural being. I can't accurately describe my reaction to something unless I have some kind of idea what it is I'm reacting to.

Even Christians make assumptions within their own sects as to what 'God' is like, so it's important to be clear. I do not know what your personal definition is.

"And if they did prove to you there was a supernatural being in the Universe that created earth, then what?"

that isn't physically possible to prove. nothing i experience in this state of consciousness can be proven because ultimately, i can never ever ever validify the genuineness of my consciousness, therefor, gods presence cannot be proven

in other words, i cant prove that what i am experiencing right now is reality, so the contents of my experience also cannot be proven

And what would you do if science or the government proved the existance of Ganesha instead of your god?

There is no god. Therefore, we are not waiting on proof that doesn't exist.

Just like we're not waiting for proof of Santa either.

We are not waiting or even looking for proof of god. It is the theist's who are looking, because they are threatened by what science has found since it contradicts most religions Adam and Eve story. There is no god. If some real proof comes along I will reconsider my position.
