Around age 40, most adults are blind-sided by one of the body's more discouraging developments: fuzzy vision. It occurs when the lens of the eye loses some of its flexibility and can't focus sharply on near objects, particularly the newspaper, maps or other fine print.
But that's not the only reason you may not be seeing clearly. You can have 20/20 vision and still become bleary-eyed if your eyes are glued to a computer screen for many hours. Smog, dust and pollen can also irritate your eyes and fuzz your view. And contacts that are not properly cared for & are wearing out can also distort vision. So can eyes irritated by infections.
Blurred vision can also be the first sign of a serious eye condition, such as cataracts, glaucoma or macular degeneration. Sometimes conditions not directly related to the eyes can affect vision. These include diabetes, pregnancy, anemia and kidney and nerve diseases.
It's good to get your eyes checked, if you haven't done already because just might need those glasses. :)

Could be several things....diabetes, high blood pressure, blood sugar problems, or just bad vision or dry eyes. It's best to go to an ophthamologist and have an exam. They can check the pressure in your eyes to make sure there is no serious problem.

Blinking your eyes rewets your eyes. You may have dry eyes. Some people use artificial tears only when their eyes feel dry, but that's not as helpful as a routine lubrication (like three or four times a day) to help prevent them from getting to that dry point in the first place.
Makes sure the bottle reads "artifical tears" or "rewetting drops". You don't want to use the drops that promise to "get the red out'.

I have astigmatism that causes my vision to blur in and out. There are many reasons behind problems with our vision that can only be answered by a professional. It could be something like lack of sleep to a serious issue that needs attention. Call an optometrist in your area soon!

An eye exam would be a good idea. If you think you have diabetes I would think it time you went to your primary care provider and had a physical. I would recommend both anyway. Good Luck.
