When I was turning 18, my cusin, (We are like third cusins, not that close) told me, "Just because your turning 18 don't mean your going to become smart."

My sister-in-law was there so I didn't want to start arguing with cusin, so I didn't ask her what she meant by that.

Is she saying, I'm dumb now and I will always be dumb no matter what age I'll become?

Sounds like it. You should always stick up for yourself, no matter who is around. Shame on your sister-in-law for not sticking up for you!

Did she just say this for no reason or was she saying it in response to something you said? Either way it is a rude thing to say. She WAS telling you that you were not smart now and that a birthday wasn't going to change anything. What a witch she is. Your sister in law should have stood up for you. I have a niece turning 18 and I would not let anyone get by with saying that to her.

Let it go, more than likely she is the dumbest of them all, it is always the king or queen of stupid who try to choose subjects, leave her in her dumb world and you go on and ignore her and show her how smart your are and how dumb she is then. God Bless.

it might have meant that but it could also have meant, "just because your turning 18 doesnt mean that every desiscion you make will be smart"

Considering the grammar in your first question...all of them actually...it wouldn't hurt you to study a little more.
