I am 15 and have never had a boyfriend before. A lot of people have told me that I should ask some people out so I could finally get a boyfriend. But I don't see the point of getting a boyfriend just to say I have a boyfriend. Right now I don't want a boyfriend and sometimes I think that I am weird because I am not ready to have a relationship yet. Should I be out there trying to get a boyfriend or should I just wait? What did you do @ my age?

Honey you are the smartest woman I have seen on this board for WEEKS. If you don't want a boyfriend screw the people who think you are weird, little do they know that YOU are the smart one. You have the rest of your life to deal with the opposite sex. Right now concentrate on getting a good education so you don't EVER have to depend on a man or any one else to take care of yourself. That is the biggest and most true freedom of all. While all of your boy crazy desperate friends are pushing baby carriages you will be out seeing the world and having boyfriends everywhere you go.
WAIT...believe it or not..lack of boyfriend is not any legitamate cause of death.

I know exactly what you are going through. I was the same way. In fact didn't have my first date until i was 16. I had a ton of good looking nice guy friends but i just didn't want a relationship either. I was having more fun just hanging out with my girl and guy friends. Worked for me. Things came along naturally and the way they should have and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Dont bow down to peer pressure. That's what my first date was. M y best girlfriends cousin. It was a horrible experience because #1 i wasn't interested, #2 he was a jerk!

Definately wait. It is FINE that you have never had a boyfriend. And NEVER get in a relationship just for the sake of a relationship. My general rule is never enter something that you hope someday, however far in the future, will end.

do what you want dont let other people tell you wat you want. if your not ready its ok cuz your still young and im only 17 and i dont have a boyfriend. my friends tell me i should have a boyfriend but its not as easy as it looks its complicated cuz you have that one person to care for which is nice to do but then there are the bad things like the problems and fights you have with eachother. remember just follow your heart!!!
