I've heard that it does. How does eating more lose weight? Is it a myth?

No, its not a myth. It helps increase your metabolism

Gets your metabolism going early in the day and gives you the energy to be more physically active during the day. Eat a large breakfast, medium sized lunch, and small dinner and don't eat anything after seven p.m.
This helps you lose weight in a healthy way that you can keep going long-term.

eating breakfast lets your body know its time to wake up and start burning calories.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 SMALL meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours) - that way your body transfers calories easily into energy it needs and doesnt store any extra in fat reserves which happens when you eat only 2-3 times a day
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

well....use this equation...

Eating breakfast in the morning
=not pigging out like crazy later on when ur starving which therefore
=consuming less calories throughout the rest of the day.

becuase then you will be full and wont be hungry during school or something and it will increase your metabelisum or something lol but eat a healthey breakfast not cereal cuz most kid cereals have only sugar and its bad for u eat total! :)
