Your sins condemn to you hell.
Hell is real place, and it's fire is very real. A minute of having a flame exposed to an arm would be grievous - can you imagine a year of your whole body on fire? That's only a year! We are talking about forever! When a million years go by you will only be in the beginning of the punishment. You will only have tasted a drop of what is to come. Oh... what a terrible thought! Oh R/S reader - flee from the wrath to come. Open your Bibles and pray that God would have mercy - before it's to late!

Hell is a terrible place of suffering and misery. If you don't don't put faith in the Lord, it will condemn you to Hell after you die. When you are in Hell, it's like living in pain and suffering for eternity. But if you believe and have the salvation of the Lord, you will live eternity in Heaven. That's what it says in the Bible.

I think it may be a lot like the slum area of a big city.
What condemns you? I think basically - selfishness. Unkindness, uncharitableness, failing to follow the golden rule, being mean. Anything that makes you unfit for decent society.
You say to yourself, "What am I doing in this awful place? Where am I?" Because believe it or not, it takes a while for it to dawn on many that they havce died.

This is an open question and seems like it is inviting debate. But the truth is there only one way to everlasting life and Heaven and that is accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. As Heaven is a delight beyond what we can dream, Hell is a place of despair beyond nightmares. And it lasts for eternity.

hell is the absence of heaven. what happens in heaven happens in hell the opposite way i guess. there will be all kinds of tortures in hell from fire to cold. a turkish philosopher once said "there is no fire in hell, everybody brings it with himself" whatever you do in the world is paid back in the afterlife. so frightening. the first thing for me will be the candy bar shoved up to myarse which i stole as a first sin i suppose.

If you are referring to the Biblical hell, which Jesus spoke symbolically of as Gehenna for the Lake of Fire, in which the incorrigible wicked will be burned up, then it will probably be like being burned to death, but with the added knowledge that that will be the final end -- death, from which there will be no resurrection.

Our refusel to love God and accept His offer of salvation in Christ is the thing that will get you to hell.
Hell first and foremost is a state of eternal existence without love, it will be filled with demons who will delight in torturing the souls of human beings by unimaginable ways, and all those in Hell will for eternity curse the day they were born and exist in a frenzied state of anger.

why do you care? its kind of like asking what do you think the sewage system is like. are you really that interested in sewage? or are you more interested in what good is in the world? maybe you think about hell because you feel that you are not worthy, and therefore you will end up there. and if you really want to know what that place is like-sounds like you have resolved yourself, given up on yourself, that that is the only place for you.
but the worst thought of all is- i really feel scared for the people responsible for making you believe that you should subject yourself to that horrific idea.
they probably are not even brave enough-YOU ARE BRAVE-to face those questions.

Hell is whatever would be the most fearsome place for a person. According to most You are going to Hell is you don't surrender your heart to Jesus. I would assume that you are judged and sent to the place where you would tormented for eternity.

i think hell will be the realization after you die that you hurt, rejected, judged, ignored, abandoned so many people that just wanted to love and be loved all for the sake of believing in the lies your church told you. the hell is as you review your life you will see all of the pain you caused your fellow man firsthand.
