I've been an Atheist all my life, I was brought up one and I honestly don't see my life any other way. I'm totally comfortable with it but I'm tired of people treating me as though I'm childish and confused because of it.

There is a certain percentage of the population who will never understand that, so there's pretty much nothing you can do about it. I agree, though, that it's annoying.

So... it's okay for YOU to be raised atheist, but not for a Christian. WE're supposed to think it over and reevaluate every time one of you questions our belief system.
That sounds fair. NOT.

When I hear that someone is atheist, I assume they have spent a lot of time thinking it over, looking at the acual FACTS and not just assuming that because mommy and daddy were atheists, it MUST be right. As to people treating you as if you are childish and confused, maybe it has something to do with your questions?

Good then you are not one of the Demoniac ones who just like to torment lovers of God. Don't get comfortable with this life, it should agitate you our you would be like an animal. Animals eat sleep mate and defend as do humans but humans have the intelligence to question their existance and their relationship with God. Animals do not. So wake up sleeping Soul, stop sleeping in the lap of the witch called Maya (illusion). For how to wake up go to harekrishnatemple.com read Bhagavad Gita as it is By Bhaktivedanta PRabhupada-tells the purpose of human life and that it is evolution of the Soul not the body. Karma, reincarnation, no one goes to hell eternally. Not even the greatest demon.

u cant really change anyone but urself. but i am a christain and when i hear someone say they are a athiest it just breaks my heart to know that they are lost and are going to hell. if they die before they can change ther life . u say how can it break my heart to know that someone i dont know is lost and could go to hell, when u get to be a christain u fell things for people that u didnt before because jesus changes u on the inside and u want everyone to feel what god has givin u .as we become a christain it is our dutie to tell the lost ones about a man called jesus so they say that after so many christain come in contact with u that we are planting a seed in ur heart and u get interested and with many praying for u one day u will know him like i do

I'm afraid you're gunna have to get used to that kind of treatment. Atheists are never given the benefit of the doubt.

Why? Do you have people constantly hounding you on a daily basis? I know if someone told me," Ive made up my mind." I would not continue to share what I know with them. I think that pretty much says it all.

I don't know. My friends still think I'm some sort of journey and will eventually become "saved."
