This is for printing purposes. Not for debate. Not for spite. Not for ridicule.
I'm not saying funny is bad because its good. I will except the wise remarks. but you have to tell me who said it, so i can give credit where credit is due.

"When you have finished your food, wash your bowl"
Buddhism is a practical religion - this quotation simply means do what you need to do, when you need to do it. Even the most simple and mundane act should be done "mindfully".
I can't remember who said it, or where I first read it, but it has always stuck in my head, and I use it often.

"I do further promise and declare, that I will, when opportunity presents, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do and to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of the whole earth, and that I will spare neither sex, age nor condition and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alive these infamous heretics; rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants' heads against the wall, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race."

"I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation, whose purposes are modeled after our own - a God, in short, who is but a reflection of human frailty. It is enough for me to contemplate the mystery of conscious life perpetuating itself through all eternity, to reflect upon the marvelous structure of the universe which we can dimly perceive and to try humbly to comprehend even an infinitesimal part of the intelligence manifested in Nature."
