My girlfriend's son who is 12, just got eczema 2 days ago everywhere besides his face. His legs are the worst.

Any advice I can tell her what to do to make it better?

He needs to go to the doctor. It sounds like he's developed severe allergies and needs medication. Over the counter creams may help, but will likely bleach his skin and make his appearance blotchy. In the mean time he should stay away from grass, check the pollen count and stay indoors when it's high... the doctor may suggest driving with the windows up (use A/C instead), keep windows closed at home, get hardwood floors as opposed to carpet, get blinds as opposed to curtains, etc. Poor kid! Good luck!

My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Best Eczema Treatment?

That diagnosis doesn't make sense cause eczema doesn't come on like that . Sounds like an allergic reaction to milk products. But you find him a better doctor and do your own research Do not lay down for any diagnosis . this little one needs someone to stand up for him OK?

That is unusual that he suddenly got it now, as old as he is. He needs some cream from the doctor or at least benedryl creme. Since he suddenly got it, they need to figure out what caused it. Have they switched brands of soap or laundry detergent? I would guess it is one of those two things.
