Picture converting program?

is there a program i can use to convert pictures from Gif to jpg? i already have Picasa2 from google and it doesn't convert pictures unless i am missing something. is there a free program that i can download to convert these

Comvert Image is not free, in fact it costs nearly $200. The link above is for a free trial only.

For a completely free program to convert images, try Irfanview at http://www.irfanview.com . No free trial, no gimmics .. totally, absolutely free to use.
