I'm just curious to know, how many times u have read the whole of the Quran (in Arabic)? I know 2 people who have been Muslims all their lives but they've never read the Quran in full. I think that's terrible.

Reading the quran and understanding it is very important.

Muslims have been chosen to be ambassadors of the Covenant and the Final Message.

No more Prophets will come so we are the mercy unto mankind.

Every Muslim both male and female is a "priest" so we are a nation of "priests".

There is no priesthood or hierarchy in Islam so each one of us must learn the Quran and Hadith and be able to deliver the message of success to mankind. That is why the Muslims will be given the status equal to the Prophets of Bani Israel.

The Quran is our miracle to show the world until the last day.

The twenty four hour life of Prophet Mohammed is the perfect example for every human being to follow if they want to get success on the day of Judgement.

We do not spread Islam through books and pamphlets.... we spread Islam by practicing it 100% in our lives.

We have been sent to make ALLAH known to the world.

If we do our jobs then God will make us the most respected and looked upto people so others will emulate us.

If we do not do our jobs correctly then God will make us the most degraded so nobody would follow our wrong lifestyle and get misguided.

When we follow the Quran and SUNNAH one hundred percent then the help of Allah will come and the promises of the Quran.

salaam sister! U would be very disheartened to hear that I am one of those Muslims who hasnt completely read the Quran But sister...It is a fact of today that some of those who have read it 10 to more times do not make the effort to follow it.

Alhamdullilah...maybe it was Allahs way of bringign me closer to Quran that it is difficult for me to read Quran. I not only by grace of Allah read Quran but I try to understand its meaning through translations and explaination!
And also try to follow it.

So sometimes its a blessing in disquise to not have done something. I try to read Qurans trs, altion many times in the month.
I dont consider it a shame that I havent read the whole of Quran in arabic. Allah does as he wills! May God find the Quran I read acceptable!Amin Sumamin.
Maslalaam!

To read the Quran in any language is simple.BUT to understand it is a horse of another color so to speak. It can bring you to tears and question the world around you.
2:213 Sura-2 Al-Baqarah
Mankind was one single nation. And Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings;and with them He sent the Book of truth,to judge between people in matters wherein they differed;but the Ppl of the Book, after the clear Signs came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through selfish contumacy.Allah by His Grace guided the Believers to the Truth, concerning that wherein they differed. For Allah guides whom He will to a path that is straight. I read the quran everyday with my children and husband. As a Muslim it is your responsibility! I've read the whole text countless times now I'm memorizing it.

Salaam

I should feel ashamed, because I am a Muslim, and I haven't read the whole Quaran yet. Even though I am young, I have no excuse. But alhumdililah, I'm currently reading it at my own pace, reading a section or two whenever Allah (swt) gives me time.
