Don't worry it will be OK
Take a deep breathe before the presentation and exhale slowly
repeat for 3 times , it will calm u down
If u felt tachycardic , u can take a small dose of propranolol 10 mg ( beta blocker) , it has both anexiolytic and bradycardic effect.....

I used to have a similar problem and I still get a little nervous, but the two things that helped most were practice and a supplement called theanine. Theanine is a neurotransmitter (chemical that effects mood in the brain) that has a calming effect over your entire nervous system. Its an extract from green tea and is totally natural. I take about 200 mg daily and 600-800 mg when I have to speak publically. It comes in capsules and gum form, Source Naturals is my favorite brand, available at any good health food store. Deep breathing also helps a lot! Good Luck.

If you have an ability to make people laugh it is always good to start with humor. You can do this by accident or on purpose. Doing it on purpose can be difficult especially if you are nervous to begin with. Now if you can get a chuckle from everyone in the beginning when you are feeling your worse. Then you will begin to relax and it won't be so bad. If you know your material then it should be a breeze. Practice on a recorder in front of a mirror. Then you can see and hear yourself to find out where to make improvements. Another point to make things easier is to make little bullet statements on your notes that you can expand upon to get your point across. They are easier to read quickly and you don't sound like a robot reading a script. Good luck

try practising b4 a mirror.then you can see 4 urself how u look while presenting and if needed can improve on ur presentation skills and gestures.and really 5 mins is a very short time.basically i get nervous b4 a presentation wen im not too familiar wit the topic.reherasing wat u r goin 2 say is a very good method.and remember no one's perfect.its ok to have stage fright.u r not human if u r not slightly nervous b4 a presentation.also wen on stage try n not think of how u look and how 2 calm down and wat to think etc..it will make u only more nervous.jus enjoy talking abt the topic.n take a deep breath every time u feel nervous.hope this helps.all the best.

Just go over what your going to say so you know you will nail it! Tell your self that everything will be fine (because it will, believe me!!) And when you are standing doing you presentation picture a big circle on the floor or on a wall strait in front of you with a glowing light of energy and confidence coming straight out into you! You absorb all of the light making you sound wonderful and you will keep everyone interested! And also remember that the people that are watching you are probably scared when they have to speak in front of people!! YOU WILL BE GREAT!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! xxxx

First things first... When ur looking out over the audience never and I mean never look at anybody. Set a point somewhere above the audiences faces and look over them.
That way you don't have to worry about someone looking and smiling at you. Or someone giggling at you or even pointing at you. Ignore everybody and go on with it. Be sure you have a subject that is not boreing and that the people will be interested in hearing.GOOD LUCK!!!

It is frightening, but I mean, if there's others that's gotta get up, just think about how they've got to do it too. Wear extra foundation to hide the reddness in your face. RELAX, it's okay. lol I promise. I had a phobia of getting up & talking in front of the class, but after this year, I've done a few presentations & even acted a little in front at least three of my classes. It's okay, life goes on. & just remember, theser are people that you more than likely won't see after you graduate.

First practice in front of a mirror, then when you are up there, think you are in front of that mirror. Try not to look to anyone in particular but to everyone, as they were one. Before you begin, breath and count 1 to 10 slowly. A friend of mine says she imagine funny faces in front of her and that relaxes her, but you has to find your own way to relax and be yourself. Try what sounds better for you.
