you won't be able to sell something that doesn't have a need. The product must have an audience somewhere. Find the audience who needs the product. It will sell.

Either, advertise it to make people think they want or need it, or discount it so heavily that people will buy it anyway. People will buy damn near anything, if they think they are getting a fantastic deal on it.

My mother in law has accumulated a couple of 3 legged chairs and tables this way.

There's no such thing as a product nobody wants to buy. The consumer market will buy what the media tells them to buy. Take water filters for your tap water, or Axe body spray.

What's your product?

ADJECTIVES ARE YOUR FRIENDS!!! For example instead of saying "old chair". I would Say "This wonderfuly warm antique chair". Sounds better, right? Oh and people love stories. Some people would buy it because it had a good story to go with it! :)

Be Creative.. it's worth a shot :)

Good luck!

Often times, people will buy from you because they like you, or your message, even if they don't want or need the product. Also, people will sometimes buy something they don't need if it seems like an extremely good bargain.

You need to make them think they need it. For every piece of crap ever produced in the world, someone has bought it, no matter how crappy, ugly or just insulting. Have you seen the Toyota Matrix?

Well, you must convince the customers of the use of your product and benefits they would take of it, demonstrate its qualities and finally, lure them with an interesting discount.

You can get somebody to buy anything if you can make them laugh. If you can make them laugh, they'll like you, and be more open to listening to everything you say. You have to convince them they need this product.
