find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Maybe...it depends on what you are eating. If you are eating junk food all day, then you need to change your diet, and start eating healthy. Also you need to exercise. If you are short on time, exercise first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. You only need to exercise for about 20 minutes a day, but your intensity level must be high. For example. On a tread mill
Minutes 0 -2 walk
Minutes 2-3 jog
Minutes 3-4 jog faster
Minutes 4-5 sprint

Repeat this cycle 4 times, this will be a very intense 20 minute workout. You will lose fat, and, tone your legs, butt and stomach.

The above exercise can be done on any aerobic type of machine, or you could run around a track and do the same technique.

Nope, you really don't need to lose weight. According to the BMI (Body Mass Index) you are at a normal weight.

The BMI is a system that compares your height with your weight and puts them into numerical categories.

The categories are...

Underweight-Less than 18.5

Normal weight-18.5-24.9

Overweight-25-29.9

Obese-30 or greater.

By entering your height and weight into the chart, I found that you are 22.7, at a normal weight.

This weight is good, however it is always ok to get rid of a little winter flub. Don't go on a diet, but maybe eat a few more vegetables, or go for a walk once in a while.

But remember, you are also quite tall, so you will be heavier than shorter girls in the normal weight category from the extra bone and muscle you have. And of course, the BMI doesn't consider the boob factor. They can account for quite some weight too.

I would not say that you should lose weight, but if you've lost some of your shape during the winter months when we tend to neglect it, it's ok to tone up a bit. But be careful, you don't want to work yourself to the point of being underweight.

:)

You are at an age when this will start to matter because of what others may think of the way you look. But if you are eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly you shouldn't worry about losing weight. It's all about treating your body right and feeling secure about the body you are in.

your weight sounds proportionate to your height. However if you do go on a diet make sure that you do it in a healthy manner. diets do not work. Eat right and exercise at least 45 minutes a day. cut out sugars and empty carbs such as rice and potatoes. eat foods high in protein.

Good Luck
