I know fast weight loss isnt' that healthy. i have been steadily losing about 1.5-2 pounds a week for the last 6 weeks. now I need to kick it in gear-vacation on June 24. I need to lose 20 pounds. My eating is healthy now, 1200 calories-ish a day, regular small meals, etc. I need to know what the best exercises are to do at my gym (every day of the week) from now til vacation that can get me the best results for weight loss. I can do any exercise, just need the right program. any suggestions are very much appreciated.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

You need to stop worrying so much about the number on the scale. To lose weight in a healthy way you only need to lose 1-2 pounds a week. What you are worried about is your looks and the number on the scale does not help you with that. You need to worry about inches around your waist. You may only lose 6 pounds but lose more inches plus you are more healthy than the person losing 20 pounds in that same time period. But the best way to lose fat is with cardio work ( i.e. Running, aerobics, etc. )

Most people who lose weight like that usually don't keep it off. The best way to lose weight and keep it off it to do it gradually.
