None of the above. The actual amount withheld depends on how frequently you are paid and if your W-4 indicates married or single. In any case, withholding is NEVER a fixed percentage of your pay. After an the value of your allowance is subtracted. The withholding is computed in a manner similar to how tax is computed on your year end taxable income. The first $X are taxed at 10%, the next $Y at 15%, etc. The IRS publication linked below contains withholding tables.
