Inverted bobs can work well w/ fine hair. A stylist may use texturizing shears to add a bit of volume. If you don't like it, then you will have regular trims for the front of the hair as the back catches up in length.

I think shorter shaggy styles work better for finer hair. Inverted bobs are tough to grow out, they don't grow out evenely. The back grows faster normally.

personally i think layered is great for thin hair! kinda like a shag. it makes your hair look thicker and more full. inverted bob is "okay" and easy to grow out but i like layered for thin hair. my hubby had long really fine hair and we went last weekend for a shoulder length cut and his hair looks SOOOO much thicker!
