If we believe in Heaven or Hell, we would have to believe that everyone has either an everlasting price or punishment, according to their actions in life. On the other hand, if you believe in reencarnation, you believe that according to your actions, you have a better or worse existence in your future lives in the degree of your actions.

Which one would be best to believe in so that we could live our lives as we should?

If I really had to, I would rather be reincarnated as a cockroach then be damned for eternity.

Why do you think we need either to live our lives as we should?

I remember past lives but I am not positive about a permanent "I" that reincarnates...but it is best not to believe. It is best to investigate and find your own answers. Keep an open mind.

As for living as you should...find out who you really are (in this life) and you will realize how you should live in this life.

Well let's see, if you beleive in reincarnation then fine, you'll come back as a tree or whatever....BUT what if the truth is that there is a heaven and hell- and that the only way to heaven was through Jesus Christ-- what then? It would be too late when you died-- is that something you are willing to risk? Your eternal salvation in Christ Jesus for some silly belief as coming back as a tree or cat?

I think reincarnation would be the coolest afterlife. Lol. How awesome would it be to come back as a bird? Cuz I know I'm not going to get in all the traveling I hope to get done during this lifetime, so maybe I'll make up for it when I'm reincarnated.

Not everyone believes in that kind of reincarnation. We choose to come here for other lives in a effort to educate our souls.

I think we should believe what makes sense to us. I think the bible is hate filled fiction. God is NOT that ignorant monster in the bible.

As a Buddhist, we believe in rebirth AND deva and hell realms...

What difference does it make? Both beliefs are fairytales anyway.

You forgot option #3. You die and that's that.

How about the truth.
"we are appointed once to die, after that comes judgment"
