People keep talking about it and I keep wishing more and more that I got the BBC where I live... but I don't. I hope it pops up on YouTube at some point. I've seen bits and pieces, clips, and I did get to see Sweeny yelling at that Scientology prick. I wanted to jump up and down and cheer for him.

I've been looking into Scientology for some time now and I gotta say, I'm not surprised at all that this program is showing it for what it really is: a dangerous, scamming cult.

I caught the last half hour. I was so mad that I missed the beginning..I really wanted to see the whole show. That head Scientology guy, Tom Cruise's best friend, was so creepy. He just seemed to pop up everywhere the reporter went and harrassed him. The Scientologists are a very creepy group of people.

I found it all very odd indeed! Each to their own and all that, but that guy wouldn't let the reporter get a word in! If I was a Scientologist, i'd be embarrassed about how reacted, stamping him down every time he spoke. Scientology breeds rude people if nothing else! It comes across as an elite members club, not a religon.

Yea I just watched it too. The Scientology lot seem like a sort of mafia who have too much control of their members. They were spying on the panorama team. They also used negative information from peoples pasts to control them. If you speak in a bad way about their organisation they will ruin your reputation. Sounds very spiritual...I don't think so. It seems to be all about money and power, both of which aren't forces of good. And their nonsensical beliefs were an absolute joke, you would have to be an idiot to follow their beliefs. It says a lot about the intelligence of Tom Cruise...or is he under their control too?

hi BraveHeartBear AKA The Outsiders AKA Affinity Warrior I watched the full panorama software. And sure, I did watch the smear campaign the cult of Scientology sewed at the same time from distinctive different, in many cases out of context, movies like some kind of hideous Frankenstein of a documentary. And by applying the way, distinctive the clips that they concept would be so valuable to their propaganda weren't fairly so undesirable. they only wish you will see it in a detrimental easy because of the fact it fairly is how the full difficulty is provided. additionally, i think of it is totally handy for the kind of action picture they have been attempting to make that in many cases cases you will see a Scientologists talking to Sweeney, "explaining" something or "discussing" something or perhaps "accusing" something, and then the video will decrease out in the past Sweeney starts off to respond, rebut, clarify, something. it is fairly elementary to grind a guy into the dirt once you eliminate his means to take care of himself and then make up any previous thoughts you choose to approximately him. one extra difficulty... I see you have given me a thumbs down as you many times do. thank you lots for taking the time to totally dismiss certainty. not that it is something new and different for you...

It would always be a cult. Read the Xenu creation story for the Scientology religion and then ask if it can be taken seriously. They are as evil as that alien, thats for sure.

You can find it by searching Xenu on wikipedia.

I don't have BBC, and can't wait to see the show.

They have been doing that kind of stuff for years!

Google the words Scientology & lawsuits for TONS
of info on the super friendly "religion".

Funny, but very educational information about $cientology:

Yes.

I am by coincidence being persued by this church right now. After posting here, a man knocked on my door and proceeded to intimidate me and told me to stop bad mouthing his church. I reported it to the police. And I keep my cameras on 24 7

The whole thing, including that doc tonight, is frightening and quite appalling. Evil organisations are just that. Not since Hitler's rise has there been such a corrupt and hostile organisation.

yes..the Scientology guy was very aggressive i thought..i'm glad the bbc reporter lost his temper with him..quite funny wasnt it??

i think its a strange 'cult' and very upsetting that members stop contact with their families..there was some sad cases on the programme - but its not really recognised as a proper religion in the uk...thankfully!!

yeh i watched the show. These scienctologists only have themselves to blame for people thinking they are weird because they act really weird. The programme showed that these people are hiding something, that they destroy anyone who tries to find out anything about them and to me that is very sinister....!!!!
