The hair that grows in your armpits is a lot different than the hair that grows on your legs. Let your daughter make her own decisions when it comes to personal hygiene.
It really is a myth that it comes in quicker and thicker, it just seems that way because the time in a girls life when she wants to start shaving her legs is also the time when her body is maturing. and courser and thicker leg har comes with a mature body.
Nair smells like cucumbers :)

I didn't see your last question, but likely people were concerned that her skin would be irritated, since under arm skin is thin, and wouldn't have any opportunity to "air out" if a rash appeared. I think shaved hair just appears to grow in thicker (but doesn't really) because when you shave, the hair is sliced off at an angle, and when it grows back in, the end of the hair is not straight- it's sliced off, so it feels more bristly.

it does not come in quicker or thicker if you shave your legs... that is an old wives tale.....
there is a lotion that your daughter can use... you put it on your legs after everytime you shave. i think it's made by jergens. it makes the hair softer and finer so that it becomes easier to shave and less noticable when you dont.

using hair removal creams in the armpits isn't good since the armpit skin is quite delicate like the cheeks. Let her use some feminine razor blade for her armpits but use the hair removal cream for her legs and not anywhere around her pubic area.

Because it can give you an allergic reaction to the chemicals in it and it's just not made for getting rid of under am hair. It's only made for legs.
