$$$2-4000 depending on the area of the country you live in- and sometimes they give discounts for families. If you live near a dental school you might try them. Orthodontists have to get training somewhere.

When my sister and I got braces when we were younger which was a long time ago. It cost my mom lots of money but it paid off in the end because our teeth are really straight and beautiful. It cost my mom about $2,000 for each of us but the great part is if you can't afford to pay all of it at once. Some orthodontist finance so you can make a small monthly payment.

I had braces and the metal braces cost an average of $3,000 for a whole set and that includes the retainers and all of the procedures that come along with them. Invisaligns are $8,000 though. I asked before about them but I wore the metal ones.

Both my kids have braces. They are $3700 each but this can vary quite a bit depending on what your kids need and on what orthodontist you go to. Some braces can be as much as $6000.

It all depends on how bad their teeth are.You got to take in effect that there is a fee just for the first appointment for the mold and pictures of the teeth plus if they need a spreader(if jaw is small) plus the amount of visits that will be needed for adjustments on the braces. It cost us in New Brunswick,Canada $8000 for our daughters braces including her retainer.

it all depends on the work that needs to be done.... I dont think the prices are much different from adults to kids, its still orthodontic work and they keep them just as long as we do as adults if not more, it all depends on the work that needs to be done but its at least a few thousand dollars. If you have insurance it "usually" covers it but check ur insurance first. Otherwise its worth it. Im 38 and got mine just a bit over a year ago and they cost me 5600 $CDN, and that doesnt count all the dental work that needed to be done before (cavities, widsom teeth pulled out, root canals, etc)
